Example Calculation
Sometimes a radio manufacturer will specify receiver sensitivity in microvolt and it’s useful to convert to dBm. It can then be used in a receiver chain sensitivity analysis.
For example, the sensitivity of the UV-5R (as shown in the picture below) is 0.2 uV. This is equivalent to -121 dBm.
