Logitech C920 Not Focusing
Logitech C920 autofocus stops working randomly, which makes the image blurry during FaceTime or video calls.
Fixes For Logitech C920 Not Focusing
Fix 1
Please ensure the lighting is not inadequate, affecting the webcam’s autofocus. Webcams like this perform better when the scene is lit correctly. The autofocus won’t work properly if the face is not evenly illuminated. Since webcams use contrast to detect focus, improving the lighting will significantly reduce autofocus issues.
Fix 2
Please turn off the auto-focus for your Logitech C920 using Logi Tune software, and it will fix the focus issues. If you are using OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), it is suggested that you turn off auto-focus in OBS, too.
Sound Issues with the Logitech C920
The system indicates no audio input or output devices are found whenever a Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 is plugged into a laptop/PC. The lights on the camera do not turn on, and it doesn’t function as a camera. It also turns off the laptop’s built-in camera, which becomes unusable. However, when the webcam is unplugged, everything returns to normal.
The Logitech app displays the message: “Camera not available; your camera is either disconnected or in use by another application.”
